FIA Formula 2 season is well underway and in the next circuit Ollie takes to Baku, Azerbaijan on April 28-30.

Key contenders like Ayumu Iwasa and DAMS have staked their claim 6 races into the 2023 title battle, but the fight is just beginning as F2 returns to the historic streets of BAKU for the fourth round of the season, this weekend. As Ollie gears up to take to the track, we take a look back at his season thus far. Let’s dive in.
Reeling in the Years
- The first F2 race in BAKU took place in 2017
- Circuit length: 6.003 KM
- Feature Race: 29 Laps, 174.087 KM
- Sprint Race: 21 Laps, 126.063 KM
- F2 Fastest Lap 1:52.129, 192.731 KM/H Charles Leclerc (PREMA Racing) in 2017
A Race to the Finishing Line
Round 4 is the return of the Pirelli medium compounds, alongside the first 2023 appearance of the purple supersoft tyres. Although the compounds remain the same as the 2022 season, the race is being held a month earlier, meaning lower temperatures, allowing drivers and teams to be more flexible with their tyre strategy.
Formula 2 kept us gripped to our seats, as it brought all its exhilarating action to the track last time out. A Championship Debut down under, in Australia proved to be a wild and wet one. Taking what they’ve learned from Sakhir, Jeddah, and Melbourne, who will reign triumphant this weekend in BAKU?
Charge Ahead in High-Speed Trading
Just like Ollie Bearman is carefully studying the track and its risky twists and turns, a trader should analyze the markets and their various ups and downs. To you as a trader, this might translate to a well-handled chart analysis. To another, this could mean not missing a single economic report and being ready for a trading opportunity when it presents itself.
In trading, just like in racing, it’s important to have a well-thought-out strategy in place before you begin. Whether you’re into technical analysis and fancy old-school chart reading, or an insatiably curious news buff that knows the price of every asset all the time, you need to analyze the market, identify trends and patterns, and determine your entry and exit points.
Ollie’s TRACK Record
From rookie to title protagonist, Bearman might seem like just a regular teenager, laughing and joking with fellow drivers and team, yet the 17-year-old’s rise to the big stage proves he’s a force to be reckoned with.
From an up-and-coming talent on the Formula 4 scene to a shining star in the third tier (claiming one victory and eight podiums – the most of any driver in the 2022 campaign) to now proving himself in the big leagues as the F2 season progresses.
As he gears up to take to round 4 in BAKU let’s look back at some of Bearman’s highlights thus far in the 2023 circuit:
- F2 debut in Bahrain in March
- Set the pace in Formula 2 practice in Jeddah, only to be shortened by a crash for Amaury Cordeel
- Point scorer in the round 2 feature race in, Jeddah, finishing in the top 10
With a short break, Ollie will be looking to the previous 3 rounds as he comes back stronger for round 4. We are proud sponsors and will be backing him all the way.
