Trading Rules & Constraints

These rules exist for one reason: fairness. If you’re serious about winning, your first edge is staying compliant.

Risk Limits

  • 5% max daily loss: If your account breaches the daily threshold, you’re out. FunderPro’s general drawdown logic uses a daily snapshot/reset (commonly referenced at 5pm EST), so treat the daily limit as a hard wall.
  • 10% max total loss: Your overall drawdown cap across the full competition window.

Participation Limits

  • 1 account per person / 1 IP: This is strictly to prevent multi-entry stacking. If you share devices/networks, trade from one clean setup to avoid accidental flags.
  • Minimum trading days: 5: No “one lucky day” wins—this is about repeatable performance.

Strategy Restrictions

  • No EAs: Manual execution only (no automated trading systems).
  • News trading allowed: You can trade volatility—just keep risk tight.
  • Overnight & weekend holding allowed: Swing traders aren’t handicapped.

Additional Incentive: Random Draw

Even if you don’t finish in the Top 10:
  • 10 randomly selected participants (outside the Top 10) will receive a $5K Evaluation Account (each).
